A crowded trip back

Now that Simone's hubby and daughter had arrived in France, a logistical problem popped up: how in the world were they all going to fit in Simone's dad's rental car? There was overnight luggage to consider but at least Simone's uncle had gallantly offered to taxi the overseas luggage in his vehicle so that they might all fit into the small car better. So five adults, one small to medium size dog and one normal 6 year old boy climbed into the car. Yes. It was crowded. They still had to stop in Chinatown for some much needed foods that would be served at the family gathering the next evening. Once the shopping done, the trunk was full. The car was full. Simone's legs were numb, what with B sitting on them for two hours. Simone, however, was pleased as pie to have her husband and daughter there. What a beautiful, beautiful surprise. Definitely worth a little leg numbness as they drove back to the house in Normandy!
