Hazardous chores

It had finally arrived! The new hot tub cover had arrived! The delivery people had duly deposited a large cardboard box on the front steps of the house, leaning it against the side wall of the garage. The package would probably have done well there, had Simone left it. Unfortunately, the overcast sky threatened imminent rain and Simone really really wanted to put the cover on the hot tub. So she decided that she'd move the box to the backyard, where the hot tub was located. She grabbed the plastic strips that surrounded the box and attempted to move the cover. No go. Simone pulled a little harder and, ever so slowly, the box tipped toward her. Simone lost her balance and fell in the bushes, the box following her descent. Other than a few bruises and scratches, nobody sustained any injuries. Sigh. Well, no injuries save for shattered pride. The box ended up staying against the sidewall of the garage until Simone's hubby got home.
