Un peu de maths

"Maman?" "Oui?"

"Tu mens encore. Maman! D est encore en train de mentir!"

Um, well okay then, want a lollipop?

"Do you know what a vaccine does?" The doctor asked B. "It puts pathogens in your system so that your B cells and T cells can learn how to fight a full infection," B replied, having repeatedly watched a youtube video on the topic. "B and T cells are lymphocytes." The doctor peered over his glasses at B. His puzzled frown and stunned silence showed that his 40 years of medical experience had failed to prepare him for such a response. "Speaking of which, I don't want a needle," B continued obliviously. "Please use a nasal spray."

B raced out of his room, dressed and ready for the school bus. "Oh, B," sighed Simone on the morrow of the final 2013 Stanley Cup battle, "you shouldn't wear your Boston Bruins jersey to school." Crestfallen, B looked down at his shirt. "But why?" He stuttered. "Because people at school won't be nice about the Bruins. They'll make fun of you for wearing the shirt because the Bruins lost the Stanley Cup." "I wanted to wear the jersey because the Bruins played well!" B protested. "They fought hard to try and win the cup." #ificouldchangetheworld#

"Alors? Tu viens au zoo?"

How am I supposed to do THAT?

"B," said Simone, her voice warming a little with anger. "I've had to ask you one too many times. Put away your glass. Do it now or I'll turn the television off." "I don't want to," grumbled B, his eyes fixed on the screen. "Watch your mouth," Simone shot back. B's eyes crossed. "I can't watch my mouth!" He cried.
