Nanowrimo

Na- National No- Novel Wri- Writing Mo- Month And that would be the month of November. I hadn't written a novel in a couple of years so I decided I'd try this personal challenge: to write 50,000 words within a month. I wrote a synopsis; outlined characters; and even created chapter outlines. I started writing on November 1st. But then I realized that I didn't, in fact, have a month at my disposal. I had 19 days IF I included weekends - which are shaky at best. We were due to leave for New Zealand on November 20. I knew that if I was to meet my personal challenge, I was going to have to do some serious writing work...
