It started on Tuesday.

But Simone has been craving a nice homemade apple pie. So she went a shopping in her freezer and pulled out a bag of cored apples stored earlier this year. She took out some yummy flaky dough for her crust. Half of it ended up in the bottom of a pie pan. She shredded one apple and chopped the rest because, darn it, she was getting frostbite on her fingers! The apples were still somewhat frozen - yikes!
She then added some sugar, added some cinammon to the apples, blended the lot and poured it into the aerated dough. She then covered the concoction with another layer of dough, punctured that with a carefully contrived design, courtesy of Madame Fork.
Aaahh!
Now the house smells like apple pie!
