Stew stewing in the slow cooker...


Simone had a yearning for some good, hearty winter food. Enter today's meal du jour: beef stew. She spent the morning chopping meat, onion, garlic, potatoes, carrots... Oh, okay. So the carrots were baby carrots, already pre-cut - and Simone did not bother to cut them... She added some flour, a dash of paprika, salt, pepper, Worchestershire sauce and red wine et voilà, le tour est joué!

Now all she has to do is wait, salivating at the wonderful aromas filling the house as the slow cooker does its job. Only 11 hours to go until dinnertime!
