Recital Time!

The long awaited night had finally arrived! The solitary reason (well he also really wanted a trophy but that's another story) that little B had trudged to dance practice for weeks on end: the recital! Little B's eyes gleamed with delight as they landed on his costume: a stellar concoction of dark blue velvet, silver sparkles with white and red highlights. A stylish baseball cap and single glove completed the outfit. It mostly fit too, except for the fact that the pants were a good three inches too long. Unable to find safety pins at the last minute, Simone resorted to cutting the pants. Of course, she cut them too short (but that's also another story). Simone left little B with his dance class and went to find her seat in the theatre. The show turned out marvellously: great choreography, awesome costumes and decent music. And little B performed his dance moves perfectly without once checking with his teachers in the wings. Wow oh wow! Cheers to the newest dance star!
