Whaddya mean, he didn't need antibiotics?
A week of fighting, or nearly so.
A week of telling little B that, yes, he DID have to swallow the yucky tasting medication.
A week of bribing the kid with Smarties.
A week with a child who showed no visible or tangible signs of improvements to his health.
Simone dragged him back to the doctor's office.
"Who prescribed antibiotics for him?" The doctor demanded.
Simone told him that the clinic's younger doctor had prescribed antibiotics.
"Seriously?" Simone's older doctor scoffed. "You obviously dealt with someone who didn't know what he was doing. If a kid has three infections at once? It's viral. Antibiotics are completely useless in such a case. I'm going to have a chat with that doctor."
Well geez.
