Arrowhead Park

Simone was beside herself with anticipation: the hitch had finally been installed on her newer vehicle. This meant that the family trailer could be taken out of hibernation! So what it was mid-September? Simone booked a site at Arrowhead Provincial Park and began the arduous task of packing. Since it had been a few years since they'd last gone camping, the task did indeed take a few days of thinking, planning and executing. On the day of the departure, the skies opened up, unleashing torrential rain and unseasonably cold weather. Did this deter Simone? Not in the least bit, much to her husband's dismay. She packed up the clothes, packed up the kids and told hubby, "Yup. We're going." And go they went. Fortunately, the rain did not go on all weekend. They were able to roast marshmallows, go for long walks and huddle in the trailer playing games. Okay, so the season is pretty well over, given how cold it was that weekend. Can we start planning for next year though?
