Simone has re-discovered the joys of grocery shopping sans enfants. What a treat! She can roam the grocery aisles, pick up what she needs without negotiating silence and good behaviour with anyone other than herself. No lifting of heavy little bodies in and out of the grocery cart. No guilt (or at least no witnesses) when Simone picks up a little treat for herself.
So why does she feel so exquisitely lonely now?
Definitely time for a real job...
