Simone and hubby were invinted to attend a very special event: the junior awards. What a treat it was! So maybe the band played a somewhat slow rendition of the Black Eyed Peas song "I Have a Feeling" that gave one the impression that perhaps it was being played underwater. None of that matters.
What matters is that the 16 year old received 5 awards, including Fitness and Math, for last year - Grade 10. How cool is that? Then sne received an Honours Award for being on the Honour Roll. Her boyfriend was no slouch either: he received three awards and was on the Honour Roll for Grade 11.
To crown things off, there were lovely little coconut cake slices served as refreshments after the ceremony. Simone was in Simone heaven. Coconut slices. Yum!
