There was yet another surprise awaiting Simone after her long, arduous cruise in the Caribbean. Upon arrival in the house, she saw that the floors in most of the rooms had been done! All the hardwood was in and Simone could not have been more pleased with the results.
In lieu of white tiles and light coloured, poorly installed wood floors, the floors now boasted dark, scratch resistant wood. And she'd managed to avoid most of the chaos, what with being away. So, okay, the workers were still in the house, dust floated everywhere and floor nails could be found scattered here and there... But the floors were done!
Aaaaah!
