And we're going to fit in here how?

Simone stared at her father's rental car. The trunk, filled to capacity, allowed barely a glimmer of light through its back window. The back seat, bursting with three large suitcases fared no better. "You realize," she said slowly, "that B and I both need to fit in there as well?" Simone's father glared at her. "Yes. I do realize. Get in." Simone sighed. "I really, really could get a rental car. Really. Then we wouldn't all be so crowded. It's what? A six hour drive from Lyon to Normandy?" "Oh, come on!" Simone's stepmom chimed in. "There'd be no fun in that if you took a separate car!" Simone took a deep breath and told B to get into the car. "No, scoot over," she told him. "I need to get in there as well." "What?" He squawked. "There's no room!" "No. But here's an electronic game for you. And," Simone triumphantly retrieved a book from where she'd wedged it in the trunk, "here's MY entertainment. We might as well make the most of the trip!" And off they went with their seatbelts (barely) buckled.
