On to Lyon

Simone hurried B along but he simply couldn't hurry. "Mom! Did you see all these stores? Oh! Look at those flowers!" He ambled toward a display that featured tulips and electronically fuelled butterflies that hovered around a windmill. "B, I'm sorry but we have a long walk ahead of us to get to our gate," Simone sighed. They'd deplaned at their gate, leaving behind the first class seats that had gone largely unused due to B's inability to sleep. The gate that would take them to their Lyon transfer was located, bien sur, at the very opposite end of the airport. Finally they reached a traffic jam of sorts. "Security? Halfway through the terminal?" Simone barked. "But we didn't even leave the secure area once!" And, to crown matters, B's jittery hopping intensified as they reached the front of the line. "I have to pee!" "Perfect," muttered Simone, extricating herself from the line to escort her son to the washrooms.
