Diving at Mushrooms

What a superb first diving experience... The boat dropped my instructor and I over some corals. The area was teeming with fish, coral and sea life. The instructor was careful not to point out the small sharks and other predators but they were there also. I had to adjust my ears several times as I was unaccustomed to the pressure but we managed to stay under for nearly an hour. Apparently that's fairly unusual for a first timer. All I can say is that if you're ever in Fiji, dive at Mushrooms if you can - it's beautiful and relatively pristine. I totally loved it...
