Flexibility

Nope, not talking about physical flexibility here, though that can come in handy as well.

Today, Simone had an appointment that was cancelled due to illness. Not Simone's but her physiotherapist's.

So Simone had a (gasp!) free morning on her hands.

What to do, what to do?

First, she dropped the 10 year old off at school.

Okay, so now what?
Baby B was in the back seat, reading a book.

Simone decided to go to the gym. Baby B enjoyed himself immensely. It's not a public gym and the people who work at the facility where it's located all enjoy Baby B immensely. He took all the soft blue foam balls out of their bin and pitched them all over the gym. He took all the large pilates balls and rolled them strategically across one doorway. He took the stepping boxes and dragged them strategically across the other doorway. He pitched the green weighted balls at Simone's head.

"Hey," said Simone.

"Hey," giggled Baby B as he raced away from her. He squatted on the ground and pulled off his socks. Then he hid in a corner of the room. Simone knew quite well what he was up to. Sure enough, the gratifying stench of overflowing sewer soon filled the area.

"Time to go," announced Simone.

Baby B raced around the room happily. Together they put the blue foam balls, the pilates balls and even the green weighted balls and the stepping boxes back where they belonged.

Even on a "free" morning, Simone's chores stay remarkably the same...
