Talking 'bout dog fur...

This picture shows the clean up that occurred AFTER the operation...

It's spring and for many dog owners like Simone, it means that the fur is flying. Shedding dogs are wonderful. Simone brushes Eliot daily, spending time, muscle and giving treats to ensure a more or less pleasant experience for everyone. In the end, she gets covered in German Shepherd fur and there are STILL mountains of fluff fluttering through the air and sliding under the television stand, under the couch and settling down momentarily in various corners.

Sigh.

So when a friend offered to rubber glove the dog, Simone agreed wholeheartedly. The dog and Simone's friend went into the backyard with the friend wearing a pair of yellow rubber gloves. The dog seemed to enjoy the rubber glove treatment immensely. Simone spied him on his back, all four paws moving in the air as Mrs Rubber Gloves rubbed his chest, belly and sides. Ah! The fur really flew. A flock of birds watched intently, no doubt waiting for the opportune time to swoop down and grasp that fur in their cute little beaks so as to line their nests properly...
