Dogs...

The dogs scratched at the patio door and looked at Simone, wide-eyed and tongues lolling. "Okay, okay," Simone relented, pulling herself off the couch. "I'll let you out." Once outside, the four legged fur balls immediately launched into a chorus of incessant barking. Turning a deaf ear to the noise, Simone returned to her comfy couch. "What are they barking at?" Simone's hubby asked. Simone shrugged. "I don't know. I didn't see anything out there." Hubby went to the patio door and peered outside. "There's nothing there!" He exclaimed. He pulled the patio door a crack, which in no way altered the pitch or rhythm of the barking. "Hey!" He shouted. "There's nothing out there and you guys are barking at it!" His shout in no way altered the pitch or rhythm of the barking either but it did make Simone laugh!
