Paris in an Audi

The rental car was not what Simone's hubby expected. "What do you mean you don't have the one I requested in the lot?" He complained, lack of sleep putting an edge in his voice and demeanour. The clerk assured him that the car they would get would be equally nice. And it was. "I think my next car is going to be an Audi," he whistled admiringly once they'd driven a few kilometres on the Périphérique. Soon they arrived at Simone's uncle's place. He showed them their room then bid them adieu: he was off to meet the rest of his nuclear family in Laons where they have a country house. "So, what do we do now?" Simone asked in the quiet of her uncle's departure. A yawn escaped her lips. Truly, they had to get moving or else they'd all be sleeping within the hour and jet lag would haunt them for days to come. Best to push through the day as though they were natives. "Let's go shopping!" Little B piped up in between coughs. Simone winked at hubby. "Let's go: we'll need groceries anyhow!" And off they went to search for a grocery store.
