ATTEMPT NUMBER 2
The standing joke is that after so many years of being threatened with a stabbing and a choking, the 11 year old caved in and died just to please everybody.
That's a lie, of course. The occasion was Halloween and this year, "Dead Girl" and "Dead Bride" were very popular choices. Attempt number one at make up was for school, where no blood was permitted and nothing likely of frightening a kindergarden child could be worn.
Attempt number two engendered head bobbing and an enthusiastic mantra of "Oh yeah!"
