The Pumpkin Patch

45 minutes. That was how long the temper tantrum lasted. And all because little B wanted to go in through the exit while the staff insisted he go through the entrance.

By the end of 45 minutes of wrestling with him, both Simone and little B were thoroughly exhausted.

But then, after imbibing some sustenance, little B found his happiness again and discovered the joys of the slides and the tricyles. Thanks to the unusually warm weather, he made a new friend: a ladybug. The ladybug was likely not nearly as enchanted with little B as he was with the insect. The ladybug flew off at the first available opportunity.

He had a 5 minute discussion with a certain Mr Chicken at the petting zoo and he fed some zealous goats. He climbed aboard a wooden train and crawled under some tires partially buried in the sand. A staff member objected vociferously when little B crawled under a fence to go play with a "dragon" located outside the play area, demanding that he cease and desist immediately his wanderings outside approved boundaries.

Fortunately, by this time, little B was happy enough to go home. And so was Simone. A 45 minute tantrum takes the wind outta everybody...
