Maybe the dog can help with this one...

They finally arrived yesterday. Simone and her husband had taken thousands of pictures with their digital camera over the last couple of years. Dutifully, they loaded all of them onto the computer. The sheer volume of them restricted any printing endeavours they might have envisioned. The small colour printer they own would have done the job well enough but would also have cost a fortune in cartridges and parts. Similarly, copying the pictures onto disks or memory sticks and bringing them to a booth at the local grocery store would likely have overloaded the machine's capacity.

Then it occurred to Simone's husband that they could send the pictures to a printing facility and have the prints shipped back to them.

And so it was done.

But.

Now there are close to 2000 prints sitting in boxes on the computer desk, waiting to be sorted. Some pictures will remain with Simone. Others were printed solely for her husband's enjoyment and should probably be kept under lock and key so that the kids never, ever see them. And the majority of them were printed with the laudable but perhaps foolhardy idea that they could be placed in various photo albums and given out as Christmas presents.

Sigh.

Simone knew she wasn't busy enough and this sure proves it!
